We’re a collective of Farmers and Artisans striving to connect the food and goods that are sought-after by the community, directly into the hands of the people. We started this market to give communities convenient access to support their local farms and to address the problem we continued to see. We saw that time and time again, good hearted people with a passion for local, quality, sustainable foods, felt burnt out traveling so far and to so many places trying to access them. We saw farmers struggling with the same issue. They wanted to be on their farms working and spending time with their families, but getting their goods into the hands of consumers took a lot of time and energy. Getting to farmers markets early to be there all day, meet-ups in town, or opening the farm at all hours to customers. This is an exhausting set up for all involved. We felt that someone needed to step in and take the risk to offer something different. While farmers markets and individual farm stands are essential and wonderful options, they don’t address the burnout of being relegated to the outskirts of town or only on one day per week for the consumer. That’s where Oak Hollow Market steps in. We offer a convenient location and 6 day a week shopping opportunity.
